Shower Theme Ideas for Bridal, Wedding and Couple Showers:

Honeymoon theme:
Throw the new couple a Honeymoon shower and give her gifts for the special weekend!
Luggage, towels, an itty bitty bikini, sunscreen, snorkel gear. It is also nice to find out what they were planning to do- such as purchase parasailing for the couple or a romantic dinner. This is where a loadable Visa would come in handy…

Around the Clock:
Each guest would be assigned a certain time of day of the groom and brides life – such as breakfast (a breakfast tray to serve their hubby in bed), movie time (a popcorn bowl & a movie), bath time (comfy towels, his and her robes). The more creative the better!

Bed and Bath:
Simply shower her with items for her bedroom and bathroom! Anything from linens to towels, decorations, etc.

Kitchen or Linen:
Kitchen cookware, glasses, plates, tupperware, potholders…(how about one of those rubber maid grippers…(then she doesn’t have to ask her new husband to open that stuck jar!) Linens for the house..anything from bedroom linens to table covers, etc.

Pamper the Bride:
Items for the bride to relax her before the big day and the many after! Bath items, candles, a new robe, etc.

Room of the House:
Simply divide up rooms of the house and give them to guests. For example: Living Room-a comedy movie, a nice throw, comfy pillows, etc.

Wine Party
Have everyone bring their favorite bottle of wine to stock the new couple’s home! Think Cheese, Meat, Crackers..

Construction Zone:
Have all of our guests come over ready to work. Helping the new couple paint, clean up the yard, move furniture…what a great way to get some things done around the house! Make sure when creating your invitation to let people know not to show up in dress clothes!

BBQ:
Location: At someone’s home, or a local park
Fire up the grill and have a BBQ! Burgers, steaks, kebobs, even hot dogs! You can play yard games such as volleyball, horseshoes, bean bags, bocce ball, etc. Perfect to keep the guys entertained too!

Lawn and Garden Shower:
Shower the new couple with new items for their lawn! A new garden hose, new plants, fire pit, maybe you could all chip in and purchase a waterfall/gazebo?

Mexican Fiesta:
You can serve burritos, tacos, Spanish rice, chips and salsa. Play salsa music and crank it up! Decorate with maracas, sombreros, etc. Even hire a local mariachi band. No one can resist a taco, margarita or an ice cold beer!
